Twenty one Year old Tamsyn Hutchins from Looe, Cornwall has acquired new ride ‘Badgers Best’ who is qualified for Badminton CCI**** 2009. 

Badgers Best, who is named after a brand of beer, is a twelve year old 16.1hh Grey Gelding with low mileage.  Previously owned and ridden by Emily Mackenzie, nee Leigh, he has not competed for the last eighteen months due to recently married Emily having her first child.

Upon hearing that Tamsyn was looking for another four star horse, Emily considered them to be a good fit for each other and phoned to offer Badger to Tamsyn.  Having tried Badger on the Tuesday, he was collected on the Friday, and pointing his toes at a Dressage competition with his new rider on the Sunday!   The pair are competing at their first BE Event at Rolleston this weekend.

After a disappointing couple of seasons it would be wonderful to see Badger and Tamsyn work and grow together ready for Badminton 2009, and see them establish themselves as contenders for London 2012.
